right i was tagged by sharon ages ago to tell 7 random facts about myself. i have no idea about tagging others so shall just do the 7 facts

1. 7 is my favourite number, i think because i was born in the 7th month.

2. I hate the noise of the breaks of a train and sit with my fingers in my ears at train stations.

3. we celebrate thanksgiving in our house. we will make good americans!

4. my parents were told they were verynot going to have children without treatment and had me after my mother turned to God and prayed. when I was born the docs said my mum's tubes etc were so badly damaged they didnt know how i had survived.

5. I love R2 D2 and yoda from star wars. the first christmas present my oh ever got me was a beeping talking cudly r2. he also made me an amazing 3d r2 cake.

6. I collect hello kitty anything and my parents for me a 3ft high one from hong kong for my wedding. dressed as a bride.

7. I once cheated in a test in the first year of high school (I was very goody goody) afterwards i told the teacher (who loved me) and she said oh dont be silly its fine!

that was fun.

Autumn Days.....

Today my favourite things have been....

finishing the nightshift 2 hours earlier than I thought, waking up with my best friend, going on an autumn walk with my best friend, wrapping up warm, have a lot of free time.

it;s the little things.....

isn't it funny when things may seem terrible or impossible that a very little thing can make your day. As I left the locker room at work I got a text just syaing hello :-D - I thought it may just be a text in passing but on exiting work there he was! A sight for sore eyes and a welcome one. Thank you for making me smile.

RED

well when i checked the word of the day fot he first ime in ages it was RED. Easy! since NV and I decided to get married we paint our room - well the skirting boards etc - red. And red bedding to match. my nan bought me this lovely cover to go with it all. I love it!

a little digi scrapping

Have managed to do a small amount of digi scrapping today despite not really recovering all weekend from migraines caused by the bright lights at work.

overall though had a lovely weekend largely down to one person...you know who you are!

day who knows what

bryher this update is for you! it was my first full day and m and s and it went quite well! there are so many lovely people there who are so happy to help us newbies! im sore and achey from not being used to being on my feet all day but about to take a radox bath which will help. I feel quite relaxed about everything.

Big shout out to my fantastic husband who got a promotion this week that he really deserves. I'm millions proud of you honey. xx

day something or other - self portrait saturday

bit of a crazy one today but Cardiff's last game I wore their shirt for the first time ever - albeit an older one of daniels and though things looked to go badly at first, they picked up and it ended up in a draw. So im showing my support for the bluebirds today and doing the 'ayatollah'. for those who are not cardiffians this means patting your head over and over. thats all I know!

day 16 - general

been online so much as ive joined a new scrapbook team online. its so cool and 3 of my old team which died a death managed to join. Except Diane - im so sorry Di if yiu're reading - please come chat to us!

Really Im stressing over money as usual but D and I are a team and we will get through it.

Been generally pottering, visiting friends, tutoring, running errands etc.

Day 15 show off sunday

well as I knew it was show off sunday today, last night I left a bit early for picking up Daniel and snapped away in Cardiff bay. I think I got some cool shots in amongst the ones that didnt work so well! I think this is my favourite of the bunch, I love water relfections.

Day 14 self portrait saturday

I love the weekend themes and after a bit of playing in the mirror this was both my and daniel's favourite! He said were I not showing quite so much skin it could be victorian being in sepia and they style of the mirror, hair twisted back.

Hopefully the weekend will be quite chilled. Had a lovely evening last night with aunty and uncle, drinking wine (though not me - designated driver!) and looking at New York photos and just chatting.

I know I havent updated everyday, just when I feel Ican fit the theme or when i have time/inspiration!

day 13 hold

i intended on taking more than this one picture but the batteries needed recharging so this is all I have!

the pizza was yummy, all credit to my lovely husband.

Day 12 thoughtful

if i had known this word was coming up I might have used the photo i used for 'friend'.

But here is my choice for this word. My brother. He thinks alot about every little detail of what we are doing and where we are going.

things are chugging along, I just really really need a job. No idea how we are going to pay the mortgage this month.

Day 11 - show off sunday

I knew instantly which photo to use - actually I have 2 becasue I can't decide bewteen them!

They were both taken in central park in new york a week ago today.

The first is the best close up I have ever taken and I love it.
This little butterfly was pretty good at letting me photograph it and only fluttered away just as I had finished.

The second, a beautiful view of the boating lake in central park (if I do say so myself) I just love the shot. I am loving photography more and more.

Day 10 - self portrait saturday

As Daniel has the camera at work to show rent fans the footage of us meeting the stars, I will use a photo taken about a month ago before a wedding. I take self portraits all the time but they usually end up looking like silly myspace photos so this is definitely something to work on when i get the camera back!







I love this photo because I fell in love with the dress and though we didnt have much money daniel offered to buy it for me when it got reduced in the sale. I wore it to rent on our anniversary in New York.
This self portrait thing has got me questioning how I see myself. I see myself as a good person I guess, friendly, caring, generous. My issues with myself are purely physical. At least physicalities can be changed in one way or another.

Day 9 - chew..

Not a lot of time to write because I am stressing about money and work and having no job.

Chew - I knew what picture to use for that!

As I've been to New York - yes, new york, i am just going to carry on to the next day lining up with todays word rather than play catch up. Yes New York was amazing! Rent was the best thing we did and it was so excellent.

not much time to chat but here is the photo for today. must confess I did not actually take it today but weather has been so bad i couldnt really go anywhere appropriate.

Feeling a little better, getting there slowly. At least i'm not feeling worse! Getting excited about NY now, began making my list of what to take. Can't beleive it's finally almost here!

Day 2 - fly

as its a) raining here and b) ive been having a bit of a migraine attack I did very much my own take on fly! Always did love fantasy.

Day 1 - Lock

First of all when I saw the post 'News' on her space my space I got very excited becasue i knew what I wanted to do! Then I saw it was lock lol never mind still going to upload my news photo because it's so exciting! My best friend is having a baby and gave me this on wednesday!







Anyway onto the lock photo. I took a photo of my beautiful front door, because it is always locked. As I am a huge dolphin lover I knew when we saw this houe that it was the one for us. But our house is kinda back to front in the sense we park at the back, always use the back door. So this door is always locked.

So, here is my blog! I never thought I'd have one but here it is. Inspired by taking a photo a day for 365 days eg a year. Right now this sounds easy to me becasue I am obsessed with my new camera that D got for my birthday. Going to begin tomorrow!
