right i was tagged by sharon ages ago to tell 7 random facts about myself. i have no idea about tagging others so shall just do the 7 facts

1. 7 is my favourite number, i think because i was born in the 7th month.

2. I hate the noise of the breaks of a train and sit with my fingers in my ears at train stations.

3. we celebrate thanksgiving in our house. we will make good americans!

4. my parents were told they were verynot going to have children without treatment and had me after my mother turned to God and prayed. when I was born the docs said my mum's tubes etc were so badly damaged they didnt know how i had survived.

5. I love R2 D2 and yoda from star wars. the first christmas present my oh ever got me was a beeping talking cudly r2. he also made me an amazing 3d r2 cake.

6. I collect hello kitty anything and my parents for me a 3ft high one from hong kong for my wedding. dressed as a bride.

7. I once cheated in a test in the first year of high school (I was very goody goody) afterwards i told the teacher (who loved me) and she said oh dont be silly its fine!

that was fun.

Autumn Days.....

Today my favourite things have been....

finishing the nightshift 2 hours earlier than I thought, waking up with my best friend, going on an autumn walk with my best friend, wrapping up warm, have a lot of free time.

it;s the little things.....

isn't it funny when things may seem terrible or impossible that a very little thing can make your day. As I left the locker room at work I got a text just syaing hello :-D - I thought it may just be a text in passing but on exiting work there he was! A sight for sore eyes and a welcome one. Thank you for making me smile.

RED

well when i checked the word of the day fot he first ime in ages it was RED. Easy! since NV and I decided to get married we paint our room - well the skirting boards etc - red. And red bedding to match. my nan bought me this lovely cover to go with it all. I love it!

a little digi scrapping

Have managed to do a small amount of digi scrapping today despite not really recovering all weekend from migraines caused by the bright lights at work.

overall though had a lovely weekend largely down to one person...you know who you are!

day who knows what

bryher this update is for you! it was my first full day and m and s and it went quite well! there are so many lovely people there who are so happy to help us newbies! im sore and achey from not being used to being on my feet all day but about to take a radox bath which will help. I feel quite relaxed about everything.

Big shout out to my fantastic husband who got a promotion this week that he really deserves. I'm millions proud of you honey. xx

day something or other - self portrait saturday

bit of a crazy one today but Cardiff's last game I wore their shirt for the first time ever - albeit an older one of daniels and though things looked to go badly at first, they picked up and it ended up in a draw. So im showing my support for the bluebirds today and doing the 'ayatollah'. for those who are not cardiffians this means patting your head over and over. thats all I know!
